Private Tutoring

For those who can afford an SAT course priced at over $1000, I strongly recommend private tutoring. The reasons for this are compelling.

For one thing, classes cannot address the individual, personal needs of the students. To do so during a class would effectively cheat the rest of the class out of what they had paid for. This is true regardless of the class size.

Private tutoring affords the tutor the opportunity to ask the kind of questions that elicit the specific needs, learning strategies, preferences, skills and weaknesses of the individual. Once these are known, instruction can be tailored to utilize this knowledge, enabling the student to capitalize on his or her individual abilities.

Beyond that, private tutoring is faster. Zero time is wasted on areas that are already strong, and the student has zero opportunity to daydream. (For the record, daydreaming is extremely rare in score2400™ classes.)

Private tutoring is done at your home. At least one parent must be present. Evesdropping is highly recommended. Progress reports are available monthly or weekly if desired.
